Refund Policy
When money comes back, and when it doesn’t. Effective September 3, 2026.
Enmaster doesn’t want money from people who don’t want the service. Cancelling is one click and stops every future charge. Actual refunds are issued by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record — the seller of the subscription — under its checkout buyer terms, with us backing every request. There is no “30-day money-back” promise on this page, because we don’t offer one and won’t invent a window we can’t back.
Cancellation comes first
Most “refund” requests are really cancellation requests, and that one you can do yourself right now: Settings → Billing → cancel, one click. No phone call, no “are you sure” maze. Renewals stop immediately — you keep full access until the end of the period you already paid for, then drop to the Free tier.
If you were charged after cancelling — a timing edge or a mistake — that’s our error, not yours. Email hello@enmaster.app and we’ll reverse it with Dodo.
Subscriptions
Plans renew automatically, and each renewal is a new period you can cancel before it starts. When you cancel mid-period you keep what you paid for — access to the end of the period — instead of a prorated refund; we don’t promise prorated refunds for days you simply won’t use.
Beyond that, refunds are handled by Dodo under its buyer terms, and consumer rights under the law where you live are Dodo’s to honor there too. A genuine double charge, a billing error, a charge after cancellation — email us first and we’ll take it to Dodo for you.
Top-up packs
Credit top-ups are one-time purchases (packs of 5, 10, or 20 credits), not subscriptions — there’s nothing to cancel and nothing renews. They land in your rolling top-up balance and stay there until spent.
Bought one by mistake? Email us before you spend the credits and we’ll sort it out with Dodo. Once the credits are spent, the purchase is spent with them — see the next section for why.
What a refund does to your credits
Credits are the service’s internal currency, so a refund has to un-sell them. The rule is simple and applied exactly as the ledger records it:
- A full refund reverses the unused credits that refund paid for — the monthly pool for a subscription, the top-up pool for a pack — floored at zero.
- Credits you’ve already spent stay spent. We never claw back what you used; that’s sunk cost and we treat it that way.
- Partial refunds don’t touch your balance — they’re recorded without clawback.
- If a refund later fails, a compensating entry restores what was taken.
A refunded subscription drops back to the Free tier, since the period it paid for no longer exists.
The free month is not a refund
If you follow the plan, book your exam, and do not pass, the free month pays out — as the next month’s base allotment, free. That’s a service month, not cash: it doesn’t return what you paid and isn’t a refund. The gates, the evidence, and the limits are spelled out in the Terms of Service.
Chargebacks
Please email hello@enmaster.app before filing a dispute with your bank. We answer, and nearly everything resolves faster than a chargeback. Disputes still land on our books as refunds and follow the same rules above.
